TAC Air Assists with Rescue FlightTAC Air AMA Helps the Pilots N Paws Organization

DALLAS, Texas (July 26, 2013) – TAC Air, a division of Truman Arnold Companies, recently played a part in a Pilots N Paws rescue mission to get a retired Marine K9 to his new temporary home. This is the fourth transport that TAC Air AMA has aided with so far this year.

Solo, a retired Marine K9 bomb sniffer, was adopted by his handler Greg Adzima eight months ago. Since adopting Solo, Greg has been deployed back to Afghanistan for another year. With his deployment approaching it was imperative that Solo be moved from MCB Camp Pendleton, CA where he currently resides to Pottstown, PA where he will be living with Greg’s parents until Greg’s return.

Pilots N Paws is a nonprofit organization that serves as a place for people who rescue animals and volunteer pilots and plane owners to come together to arrange rescue flights and foster care for animals across the country. TAC Air AMA served as a resting and refueling point for the passengers and crew on Solo’s journey to Pennsylvania.

In addition to this assignment, TAC Air AMA has joined with Pilots N Paws this year to transport two English Pointers from a shelter in Houston to Salida, CO and another Pointer going from Clovis, NM to Nebraska.
