CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (December 20, 2013) – Christmas came early for some area women and children today at TAC Air, as the third annual ‘Cool Yule Fly-In’ was held at the fixed-base-operators Chattanooga facility.
The annual event is designed to share holiday cheer with families who are spending their holidays at the Partnership’s Domestic Violence Center. Santa gave his reindeer a rest today, opting to fly to TAC Air in a bright red restored T-28 airplane to greet children from the Partnership. After landing, Santa handed out toys to the children, provided by The Forgotten Child Fund.
Sandra Hollet, CEO of the Partnership for Families, Children and Adults said, “The Cool Yule Fly-In is always a special holiday experience for the families from the Partnership. We are extremely grateful for the support of TAC Air”.
Santa’s fly-in was held in conjunction with the cookout TAC Air hosts each month for its customers. TAC Air also provided lunch for the children and families visiting. An added attraction this year was a brilliant red fire truck The Forgotten Child Fund had display for the children to tour.
“We look forward to spreading some holiday cheer to the children from The Partnership,” said Pam McAllister, General Manager for TAC Air in Chattanooga. “This event is a great way to bring together our friends, wonderful staff and the families from The Partnership for a celebration that everyone looks forward to throughout the year.”
